Home Maintenance Tracker & Schedule

The jobs that protect a house are easy to forget precisely because they are not urgent yet. This free tracker turns that vague guilt into a clear schedule: log when you last did each task and it tells you what is overdue, what is due soon, and what can wait.

Seasonal maintenance is the difference between a home that ages gracefully and one that nickels and dimes you into a major repair. Deferred upkeep compounds: a $15 filter skipped becomes a strained furnace, a gutter left full becomes a wet basement. Keeping a simple schedule is the single highest-return habit a homeowner can build.

Not sure if an appliance is near the end of its life? Check the lifespan calculators to see how much time you have left before a task becomes a replacement.

Frequently asked questions

Why does home maintenance matter so much?
Homes fail slowly, then all at once. A clogged gutter routes water into the foundation, a neglected water heater rusts from the inside, an ignored dryer vent becomes a fire risk. None of it announces itself until the repair bill arrives. A little seasonal upkeep is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy against a five-figure surprise.
How does this tracker know what is due?
Each task has an interval, like every three months or every year. When you mark a task done today, the tracker adds that interval to the date and shows you the next due date. Anything past its date shows Overdue, anything within thirty days shows Due soon, and everything else shows OK. The list sorts the most urgent jobs to the top automatically.
Is my data saved anywhere?
Everything lives in your own browser using local storage, so it stays on your device and works without an account. The tradeoff is that it will not follow you to another phone or computer, and clearing your browser data wipes it, so bookmark the page and note down anything you want to keep. Account sync and email reminders are on our roadmap, not live yet.
